I just threw away the best Balatro run I was ever gifted
I got absurdly lucky in the early game and got a negative Ballot and a Triboulet, along with Spare Trousers and some other decent jokers. I worked on getting more kings and queens and building up the trousers. Then I got to The Needle, went through all my discards without getting a pair of kings or queens, and lost. Sad thing is I had Director's Cut, but I'd been beating every blind in one hand so I thought it was a sure thing.
Just wanted to rant a bit.
Definitely sucks but it's the heart of the cards. And there will be even better rng runs in the future.
Sometimes if there in a certain run I really want to play again, I'll backup the save file in the appdata Balatro folder you can just swap it back in whenever.
