The look of the store and launcher has been updated
- The fonts are different and bolder, with many instances of text now in sentence case rather than uppercase.
- The highlight blue is now light blue. This also affects the discount percentage colors on the store.
- Many elements are also of a lighter color than they used to be.
- Launch options now available from the Manage menu of each game.
Did they make it not run like dogshit yet?
Used to take over 2 minutes to launch on my pc.
It's always run as good as any other web-based client on my end. According to a third-party test presumably commissioned by Epic, its empty library cold start time of about 5s was already better than that of Steam as of August 2023, with more improvements planned for this year. In the real world, the boot time would depend on the library size, use frequency (caching), and other factors.
