Courtney Barnett — Pedestrian At Best (2015)
I first spotted Courtney playing in Brent de Boer's (Dandy Warhols) band, Immigrant Union, at a gig in Melbourne. The first Barnett performed song I remember hearing is Lance Jr which was on her early EP, I've Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris (2012). The first EPs got played a lot on the local community radio stations here.
I chose this song from the first album because the video is a crack up and I enjoy the added crunch of the instrumentation.

I find almost all of her lyrics witty. She has some the best lyrics and will often sing about unusual topics, like having an asthma attack.

Thanks for reminding me of this song! I discovered her through Three Packs a Day. Certainly rates as best music I found out through my favourite instant noodles.
