I saw Matt open for Devil Makes Three a few years back and I was blown away by his stage presence. I have been a fan of DM3 since their first record, and could have left right after Matt's set.
I hope he gets the recognition his work deserves. GemsOnVhs has introduced me to some of my favorite new music, Matt is definitely near the top of that list.

gems is also super sick. i cannot believe how many good artists they find, and the videos are just so choice
