They will be using them for surveillance soon enough. Don’t give them an inch.
Regular drones could already be used for that more easily.

I got a feeling of discomfort thinking about this, but couldn't put my finger on why. This is why. Funny how that lodged into my subconscious, hah.

...don't they have wireless emergency alerts?
If that's all they use it for its not a bad idea. I don't trust them though to not abuse it.
So will those be completely under public control or is that like moving Twitter again that gets rate limited in case of an emergency?
