My name is Drye and I'm a native of Muskegon MI. Currently in Norton Shores with family. I'd like to use this community for discussions about the area and leave it fairly open for people to get involved.

I could link to that one for sure, but having something specific to Muskegon was my goal. I love my home town and woul dlike to have things a bit more catered to this area. (231/4944x)

I've got some learning to do in how to better integrate those without having to create an entirely new account/profile. Is there a way to tie them together without creating new accounts etc?
Everyone from any instance can interact with your comm ![email protected] so no need for separate accounts. You can also make both your accounts as mods on that instance and only actively use one account which you choose, and close the other one.
My original point was to get you to use that server, as I'm on a personal mission to remind people to use instances that are better suited for a topic, in order to reduce clutter on lemmy.world 😅
Totally makes sense. I ran into all kinds of issues trying to log in and use the other instance as my “regular” account. I was trying to figure out how to mod myself more or less as well. I’ll have to play with it more tomorrow and then I’ll more than likely clean the lemmy one up and just have a forwarder to the other one.
