That's what he said in response to the National Hurricane Center posting the latest satellite image of the storm.
It's not nonsense. It's a sustained attack on both people and science. This kind of message brings the science deniers and bigots closer together, helping to shore up that base and give it common ground.
It gives them a new point of focus rather than the record-breaking severity of Beryl this early in the year.
How is that sentence an attack in any way?

I would not say the most prominent LGBT+ news outlet is trolling. They report on bigotry. It's part of their job.
This shit is what the Trumps feed off of. It’s what gives them their power.
They already have power and queer people need to know when that power is wielded against them. That nonbinary people are becoming as big a target as trans people is something that people, especially nonbinary people, need to stay informed about.

Beryl is a mineral. There are definitely women with the name, and there are likely some men, too (though A Boy Named Beryl doesn't have the same ring to it).
