This is purely for the money. But who can blame him as it's being reported that he's going to be getting around £20m per year.

I can't see another top league going for him as it is right now so it's almost like starting again in a league that (unfortunately) is getting more and more high-profile (only due to the money being thrown around and not the quality of it).

Whatever happens I hope he does well so he can manage in a better league in the future.

No such thing as too much money I see. Even if you’re in a position to make a moral stand. No matter how vacuous it might really be. You just cannot say no to that extra 20 million

Really don't see how this could help him out if he still aspires to build up his managerial career.

His stint at Rangers was successful, and I really don't believe the talks that everything he did there was solely due to Beale working behind the scenes. He was out of his depth at Villa despite some initial promise, but he was pushed into it too soon I think.

But going to Saudi Arabia right now is just a money move. I mean if he thinks that's what he needs to do then sure, but it's not going to give him the experience or foundation he'd need to make it in a top league.
