Finally done with my 120 CPEs for my CISSP. That was a long ride, happy to be done with it

Why not SAP/Security Specialist?

I'm planning to sit for the latter later in the year

I had to clear the AWS SAA before nominations started for the certification drive. Unfortunately I cleared my exam after the nomination window. Otherwise would have opted for Security speciality or SAP.

Ah, I meant why not go for the AWS Certified Security - Specialty instead of an Azure certification?

AWS SAA was a prerequisite for the security speciality in the certification drive but I cleared my exam after the nomination window and it doesn't look like I can change it at this point.

I don't quite know of this certification drive you speak about: is this specific to your company?

I have a 50% off voucher since I sat for the SAA recently, I'll just use that hehe

Yes. My company has a certification drive where it provides a voucher for free of cost.

Awesome, congratulations!

I've heard good things about the AWS Security Specialty certificate too. I've done a course for it which was great, though I never bothered to take the certificate (I don't feel the need for it). Have you considered it?

How helpful is the Google IT certificate? I'm trying to land my first help desk job. Do I have a shot at getting one of these roles before earning a CompTIA A+?

Haven't seen an actual review of it yet. Though I've seen a lot of people asking about it.
