It's astonishing that this game continues to receive support. Pretty impressive dedication from a one man developer.
Stardew is a true labour of love. The dev is a good dude and one I'm happy to give my money (multiple times for different platforms and people, in my case).
Think he's finally hired another Dev to help but yeah it's amazing

ConcernedApe is the best! I can’t believe how much content he has given to us for free over the years. I have bought SDV on four different platform and still feel like I haven’t paid enough for just how much I’ve gotten out of the game.
As much as I loved SDV when I played through it, I don't know if I could start another run despite the new content. Too much lol
I know! I played the entirety of the game and enjoyed it very thoroughly. Then they released the first big upgrade years ago and I couldn't. I tried recently to make a new character and I only lasted a couple days. I can't get to the new content no matter how hard I try.
Can't you just use your old save?
I can but I kinda forgot how to play my main. I logged on once and was like oh, my what in the world am I supposed to do here? 😂
Like everything else in SDV, just learn as you go.
If you play on PC, add some mods, for example Stardew Valley Expanded or Friends of Mineraltown
I also love the Automate mod for letting me focus on the interesting stuff and not the boring stuff.

I couldn't keep going after like 50 hours. Can't imagine trying again, hahaha.
My wife and I replay it every update. It is the only video game we play together.
I've tried to get my wife into it with me, but she's not much of a gamer. Fingers crossed for when my daughter is a bit older

The 1.5 update was awesome. I really enjoyed the couch coop with my wife.
