How does the Mastodon integration work?
Apologies if this has been covered. With the search function broken, I can't find out.
So it seems that microblogs pull in Mastodon hashtag content. So I've been hashing all my threads and posts but I can't find any of that content on Mastodon. So is it just a one way feed for this feature unlike other federated instances?

I've followed my fosstodon account on kbin.social and my kbin.social account on fosstodon and I'm unable to see posts in either direction. It doesn't seem like cross-interaction is working at the moment to me.
WAIT. I'm actually half wrong. I can see my kbin posts from mastodon! It's just that they're all comments so far, so I have to go under the "Posts & Replies" section to see them. However, I'm still not able to see my mastodon posts from kbin.
It appears that it may be on a delay. It took about 20 minutes for my Mastodon post to appear in a microblog on kbin.

Is your kbin account being followed by anyone on Mastodon? If you have a mastodon account, try following your kbin account from that one and try again.
Don't have one, just saw lots of mastodon stuff on the microblogs when i showed up and thought it was a feature. but @mattmcal above says its not working for him anyway, so still coming online, maybe.
