Bug? Clicking on comments in my inbox
When I click on a comment in the inbox, the thread appears beginning from the comment in the inbox, i.e. my comment, which is needed to establish context, is hidden/ not shown. Is this by design, or is it a bug?

By design, you'll see your comment and then the reply below it that you clicked on in the inbox. You only see that one conversation thread, so you won't see other replies to your comment. You need to hit the "view full post" button to see everything.
Something's wrong with mine then. I don't even see your comment after clicking on it, in the inbox. I do see the replies to yours, though. I have to click 'view full post', then scroll down to see the context.
Hmmm, yeah that's weird. You should see your own and the reply. Couldn't hurt to update/reinstall. I'm on version 1.0.177 if that helps.
