Wtf is “bias crime”, sounds like something made up by a lawyer for a racist who committed a hate crime.
Looked it up, it's just what hate crimes are legally referred to in Oregon apparently.
Which means yeah, probably at some point some lawyer defending some racist argued the actual term for it was politically incorrect and somehow people agreed with him
