I wear my mask everywhere... when people ask me why I still wear it, I tell them, "I'm practising for the next one."
It's just easier than explaining to people that we still aren't out of COVID-19 yet.
Don't think mask will help for mpox. But I hear you!! Lots of people still sick with Covid.
No it won't... but it will help with the strain on medical workers and infrastructure if mpox (or whatever comes next) goes big. Hell, they could barely handle the strain before COVID thanks to our neoliberal overlords.
It's a small thing - so I do it.
