What is the plant? And is that a bottle of water in the pot?

And yup! Water feeds into a terracotta piece, which keeps my plant watered.

Do you have any more info on this? I've seen commercial terracotta watering devices but if there's a cheaper DIY option, I'd be up for a small project.

Its a small terracotta piece just large enough to fit the neck of a bottle, with a pointed end to enter the soil. I got it from a local plant store, it wasn't very expensive. 5-15$ iirc.
