Image upload broken
Since the last update I can't upload any images anymore. In the post creation screen it just doesn't do anything and in the comment screen it complains about incorrect format, pointing at ""

It is possible your image exceeds your instance limit. On my instance(lemme.ee) image size is limited to 100KB and if you exceed that you get that same error.
I uploaded the same image with connect just fine. Maybe connect automatically adjusts?
Sorry about that, the control buttons are getting pushed off the screen on some sizes. We have a fix ready that should be in the next build.

Okay, this is in lemmy.one right? I’ll see if there are some size limit issues we need to handle.
Edit:just tried creating an account there and got a JSON parse error. Is everything okay on that instance?
Edit 2: just tried on lemm.ee as mentioned below, and I get the same behaviour. Looking into it now.

Oh really? This is a Liftoff bug? I had assumed that lemm.ee just had an image size restriction.
Well it’s a bug in that Liftoff doesn’t deal very well with lemm.ee’s message about its image size restriction .
