This chapter is the start of volume 10, and I doubt they'd only have 5-ish chapters in a volume, so we probably have at least a dozen chapters if this is the final stretch.

Personally, I think they'll follow the recent trend of "this is how these two idiots are as a couple", so we've got a bit of time yet.

I would like to think you're right but this very sudden shift of pace has me slightly concerned. Granted as long as it doesn't feel rushed I wouldn't mind this ending, if anything it was starting to feel extremely dragged out.
