xmpp is an open direct messaging protocol, that supports decentralized servers. it can be used as a (non feature complete) alternative to discord or matrix. it was bigger in the past but then google hijacked and killed it :< but its still pretty cool and great!!

no.. maybe? if it had the same name, then yes! i abandoned it tho, because matrix is cringe technology and xmpp is my new best friend now!!
damn i thought this was the first killer spatial app for the vision pro.
If you don't mind me asking, how different is XMPP from Matrix?
mm the protocol is better with metadata and privacy.
xmpp sadly doesnt have any great clients, and is missing a lot of comfort features. it got potential tho :33
