You could emulate Nintendo DS way before Folium [EDIT: for free]
But you couldn't do it with an iPhone without hanky jailbreaking previously.
Delta was the first* emulator on the App Store, was it not?
* not counting the GBA4iOS knockoff that was taken down
EDIT: oh and you didn’t even need to jailbreak before then, AltStore and Sideloadly don’t require it
Delta does the same for free
This can do 3DS, which for some reason was not mentioned in the headline, while Delta can’t.
