Every time I rewatch a Ro Laren episode, I get upset that we don't have more Ro Laren episodes.

I'm gonna be real with you, chief, I HATED Admiral Cain.

As far as I'm concerned, the only good thing she did was deliver a spare Battlestar to Adama.

You were supposed to hate Admiral Cain. She was a military dictator and, more important, a mirror to the path Adama considered in the mini-series.

The Pegasus arc was so fucking good.

Years ago, I tried so hard to get the SyFy Channel/NBC to give me the rights to do a BSG audio drama taking place on another ship in the fleet parallel with the TV series' story arc that would incorporate things like fleetwide announcements in the TV show into the story.

So if the President or Adama makes a speech at some point, they hear it on the ship and react to it.

Alas...

The role of kira on ds9 was originally supposed to be Ro. You could have had a whole series with her as a main character.

Anytime one can make or use a portmanteau is a good time. Ain't nobody got time for all those syllables.

If you are going to point out someone's spelling you could at least be courteous about it.

Hear, hear!

It’s always great to see some part of humanity pushing towards those utopian Star Trek society ideals.

And there’s a substantial overlap with the “white lives matter too” lot!

This image could totally have some kind of ethereal Jesus-like figure floating above them with its arms out ready to embrace them, with a big BLM pasted on its forehead.

Wait, was Ensign Ro LGBTQ+?

I thought that sort of thing wasn't really allowed in 90s Trek, unless the writers could sneak it past Rick Berman. Obligatory: Fuck you Rick Berman!

Upsetting the biggest pieces of shit in the world is one of the best things to happen each year,

Slavery didn't really end until 1963 -- or hasn't even ended yet, if you count prison slavery.

So what's your point?

You're the first person I've heard claim there were no more slaves after Juneteenth.

The power of Juneteenth is that it's a grassroots celebration by former slaves started the year after they were freed.

You reached the end
