Share your contribution maps
I saw a post on OpenStreetmap contributions on another comm, and was asked to post here. It would be really cool to see what people have contributed, and where!.
I have been doing stuff on and off again for the last 13 years, and just installed street-complete thanks to a lemmy thread, i have just gone through and added a bunch of details to my suburb, and really want to start getting addresses added, so i can stop using gmaps so much!
anyway, go to openstreetmaps.org, go to your profile and click "my edits. then try and load them all (unfortunately it is paginated).
Then post a screenshot of your map.

Maybe checkout https://yosmhm.neis-one.org and http://hdyc.neis-one.org/ for cool maps. The first one is a heatmap of all your changes.
That's cool. Apparently user names are case sensitive

Over 3 years now, trying to map wherever I go. Germany has a very active OSM community, so it's more fun to map smaller places I travel in Europe.
very nice! i love seeing all the different location, and seeing that people had nice holidays in greece(?) and spain. i am also looking for some more esoteric places! my one is Kiribati.
I am very glad to have a supportive SO. It's not given that when walking through a romantic alley on a Greek Island and I say "Wait I need to map this bollard" she is understanding this is for the greater good haha
