hello all, new lemmy reddit transplant here. thought i'd show off my DIY VR rig. I mostly use it for MSFS but do some dirt rally2, AC, and nolimits2.

Quick <1min changeover to car racing
ducted fans for 'air conditioning' or wind simulation mostly in nolimits rollercoasters

That must be awesome with that much range of motion
it is!! :) technically the full range is a 200mm box in xyz and 30deg on all the rotations, but at those limits you cant do more than the 1 axis. so in flypt its limited to 100mm xyz and 15deg rotations so it never gets to an out-of limits position.
