what the fuck? that page automatically, without asking, downloads and opens three pdf documents in external reader? how does that even work?
so i had auto open pdf set in firefox, but still wtf. it is first time i saw a web to auto push the file like that without clicking on anything. that is some serious bullshit.
Really? I opened the site in mobile before sharing so I didn’t see anything like that. Wonder if the site is compromised or something. Very odd user behavior
that's not it, they were documents relating to that text, the same that were also embedded inside of the article - see https://i.imgur.com/OABLReO.png
but i have never seen such behaviour where webpage would trigger the file download on its own without clicking on anything.
now combined with the fact that i had the browser set to automatically open pdf without asking and the fact the pdf can definitely contain malicious code, needless to say i was surprised.
