I like the sinking/shield mechanic combo, I wonder how good it'll be with Dieci Rodya.

That's an interesting mechanic for sure! Not sure which ID I'd bring for Sinclair in a full Sinking team, though... I mean, I could bring back the mariachi but is it really worth it...?
I think we're holding off on butler Sinclair coming out this season. (cope)
Mariachi def not worth it, and this EGO does not really make it so imo.
That could be an explanation, yeah. For now this E.G.O doesn't quite know what it's doing there but it'll find its place at some point I guess ^^
They're not really shy about releasing E.G.O with no good IDs to go along with it.
It'll probably become less of an issue once every character has a decent ID to fill a niche, but for now while the game and meta is still developing it might be rough.
From what I saw, people are very mad about it but I honestly don't see the big issue. Hong Lu will get a tremor ID eventually, Sinclair will get a sinking ID eventually, and until then you're free not to pull/spark Cavernous Wailing.
People are mad at this game from daring to /checks notes/ be a game, or so it seems each time I see what people are angry about >='(
