It's good but it was sold to me as a cozy post-heroic-era fantasy, and it (the manga at least) devolves into chargin'-my-power-attack shounen plots pretty quickly.

Darn, I almost started watching it. I hate when shonen gets in the way of good story.
It's fine, it's not bad... I just expected it to be amazing and it's merely good.
