i don't think it's fair to lump furries and zoophiles in the same group. there's a pretty big difference between dressing up as a cartoon fox and wanting to f*ck the family pet imo.

I...still don't get it. If it's animal what's turning you on, it's zoophilia, right? So what's the difference between wanting to screw a dog and imagining you screw a dog while screwing someone in dog suit?

And I don't ask in negative manner - literally, I don't get the difference, but asking friends on the furry side of the force get's them all worked up.

Some/most furries are attracted to anthropomorphic animals.

Anthropomorphic animals are fictional beings who can be described as animals with human intelligence and often human posture.

The reason why zoophilia is problematic is that no real animal can consent (except humans), so having sex with then is always rape. The human intelligence part, combined with the fact that anthropomorphic animals can communicate takes that problem away.

Furries probably get so worked up because they already receive a lot of hate which causes them to see hate when there is none.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, right 😒... come on, I've seen zoo clips, the dogs are happy as can be.

the people below make good points, but my main thing was being a furry doesn't have to be inherently sexual. could be you just think anthropomorphic animals are cool in a platonic way and are still disgusted by the idea of fucking an animal. I mean, it's not like furry-cons are big orgies right? why wouldn't they be if it was really just a sex thing

Furries: mostly harmless, have higher quality porn artists than us, good at crafting, bullied for being merely kinky

Zoophiles: depraved sexual predators, untalented, morally correct to bully them

untalented

Than NSFW content creators are untalented as well.
