Nvidia Settings on Wayland soon?
I've been using Wayland (Hyprland) for a couple days now and I notice there's no support for Nvidia settings. Nvidia X Server Settings will open without the possibility of making any changes.
Do we know anything about future plans on integrating Nvidia settings on wayland?
I can't provide you a source now (since I can't find) but it was discussed recently in the news that Nvidia promised Wayland support by the end of 2023.

What setting are you trying to change? Some stuff can be done via CLI tools.
Enabling G-Sync and increasing digital vibrance on my second monitor. Everytime I need to increase the vibrance on my second monitor I have to first boot into xfce, open nvidia settings until the profile loads then log out and then log into hyprland. It's very annoying.
You may set profile you need once, save it into nvidia-settings file and load on every startup.
I have to log in to xfce for the profile to take effect. I set Nvidia settings to start at login, even though the process does start on Wayland it doesn't apply anything until I enter xfce, then I can exit it and start my Hyprland session

nvidia-settings -l?Also you can try to do that with something like xvfb which would start X session and let nvidia-settings to apply it's profile.Probably 😅 .
Hyprland supports variable refresh rate. You should be able to just turn it on in the config and it will be automatically enabled. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Variable_refresh_rate#Hyprland
I'm not sure about digital vibrance off the top of my head. I use color managed displays, so that's not a setting I've ever needed. Maybe check if Hyprland has some color settings, or make an ICC profile for your desired colors.
