Too bad, really. I thought it was one of the more intelligently done shows on TV. I also liked the season-long story arcs as opposed to TV's standard one-episode resolutions.

The first season showed a lot of promise. It definitely felt like they were rushing and overly-condensing their story in S2, though.

See, I didn't get that impression. I saw it more of giving Mason and the supporting characters depth, to be expanded upon in future seasons. Only Burger got short shrift, I thought.

Is it worth watching? Does season 2 end with a satisfactory conclusion?

Yes, it's worth watching anyway, IMHO, and season 2 ends cleanly enough..."satisfactory conclusion" or not is for you to decide.
