Jerboa on Android supports this in the slide out menu on the left
Right. Should have specified on PC, not android or iphone.
Most browsers have tab support. You can have a different instance on each tab, and switch between them all you want.

Just out of interest - what are you trying to do with multiple accounts?
You probably know already, but you only need one account to participate in multiple instances (as long as they haven't blocked federation)

If/when defederation happens, I want to have a solution. I don't want to depend on a single instance to handle it how I want.
Throwaway accounts were a thing on Reddit for a reason. For the same reason, I'd like to have that option too.

I have accounts on different instances as well for the same reasons as you.
How does this apply to the defederation of BeeHaw towards lemmy.world? I am on lemmy.world and can still view BeeHaw content. So I'm confused. If I go to ![email protected], I can still post and comment.
edit: so clearly my confusion stems from my inability to understand the difference between ![email protected] and !technology on beehaw.org. They have the same posts and comments but !technology does not allow me to comment or post.

I use the webapps (open in mobile browser and hit add to homescreen). Each instance is a different domain, so I can have each account as a separate icon on my homescreen
