Why do they make a big deal about Cohen being a felon? He's a felon because of the same crime that Trump is on trial for right now!

Because trumps base doesn't have a long memory. They only remember the " is now a felon" from the sentence "this guy did what trump asked and because of this is now a felon"

Even more absurdly, Trump was named unindicted co-conspirator in that trial, leading to his prosecution now.

That part always makes me laugh too. It would be like if Trump ordered a hitman to kill someone and then his defense was "why would anyone take the word of an admitted killer?"
