If you don’t get many updoots, could be because it’s unviewable on Voyager on iOS. Video area collapses into a black bar.
If I don’t get any feedback, more than likely you’re a bot. I tested a few links and they all go dead streams, not files. That’s just for page view clicks.
Kind of presumptuous to jump straight to accusing the poster of being a bot, especially when they have a long history of both posts and comments. You could at least check that the posts work in a browser first.
I did - I checked a few included this one in a browser and they didn’t work.
Perhaps it was presumptuous but there’re so many bot and bot-like posts now it’s hard to tell what’s what. Just seeing clickbait titles and dead links makes me cynical

The problem is with the Lemmy apps. They have very few supported video hosters. Only RedGIFs seem to work reliably across apps, in my experience

These have all been directly uploaded to lemmy, you can see that the videos work in browser
