I kinda figured that the Lemmy API would be reasonably similar enough to the Reddit API that it wouldn't be a massive effort. Assuming good code architecture that keeps the backend separate from the frontend. :)
I only ask that the red/blue is reversed so anyone posting old Reddit upvote memes will never make sense to me, because I'll absolutely be using Sync immediately in 10%.
Don't change the logo ... just keep it as is ... I identify the app more for the app than for the site it was associated with .. I associate Sync with Sync ... I don't associate it with reddit, lemmy, kbin or anything ... I just associate it with Sync which makes the most sense to me
That logo only means Sync to me ... and as an app I think it should remain that way

From what i saw trying to figure out how the lemmy api worked, it's much simpler than the reddit api

Really excited. Made my lemmy account 5 minutes after losing access to sync for reddit. I'm using Jerboa atm but miss the convenience of sync.
Try connect, it's pretty similar to sync (albeit the lack of features the old sync had.)

No, the colors on lemmy should be flipped to match Sync's!
I think that depends on which interface - connect for lemmy shows upvotes as orange.
Jerboa shows them as blue.
Even then it depends on theme. Jerboa is just black and white for me.

The only app I’m aware of for Kbin is Artemis but it hasn’t been released yet. Supposed to be heavily inspired by Apollo.
Sync creator said he wanted to add kbin support down the road.
