I honestly don't buy that there is a pristine 10 Alpha Black Lotus in existence. The fact that they're claiming a 10 makes me extremely skeptical of all of this.
Pretty much anything out of the package gets an automatic 9.8 at MOST.
Someone look up if you can dodge taxes with this
Were there different version of this card? I feel like I had one of these at some point
There's Alpha, Beta and Unlimited. It's on the reserve list so won't be reprinted again. But there's been a lot of lotus-style cards over the years
They can reprint it as a
judge promoor official unplayable card like in the 30th edition lol.Edit: A previous version of the policy allowed premium reprints but that's no longer the case. My mistake.
@JackbyDev @MysticKetchup judge promos are completely playable. That one's out
You're correct. My mistake. https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/official-reprint-policy
I mentioned elsewhere on the thread after a different user corrected me but it might be hard to see from Mastodon. I'm not sure why I had the wrong impression because I began playing after that change.
Alpha, Beta and Unlimited
Yeah, correct, I mixed up Unlimited and Revised
@MysticKetchup did Post Malone buy it?
I believe the buyer's name is hidden, which makes this all the more suspicious. I mean this is like 6x the price of the most recent highly graded alpha Lotus, which was only a year ago.
