lol it’s like they asked an American child to draw Europe

I'd be impressed with any child that can get that close to reality. I know the geography enough to know that's wrong and point out flaws with it but it's still way better than what I could do drawing a map of Europe from scratch (I just tried, it was bad).

Maybe I play too many paradox games but I feel I could get pretty close lol even at 10 I would’ve done well with the shape from playing total war games, country borders might have been iffy. Could always just put one big lump in the middle for the HRE and call it mostly good

Try it lol. My grand strategy experience only helped me understand just how bad my attempt was, though maybe that's partially due to being bad at putting images from my head onto paper.
