Thoughts on the Ploopy?
Hi,
My MX Ergo from 2018 starts to show its age (it started peeling on top, the mid-click is fiddly at times, etc…) so I’m looking for a replacement.
I was really really tempted by the Ploopy (the Open Source, Open Hardware, customization seem really cool), but I’m afraid the price (given I live in France and it’s shipped from Canada) would be too high for me.
Is there a way to make it at an affordable price? Is there any indie/open source viable alternatives?

No other open source I am aware of but for more independent and affordable in France, possible a GameBall Trackball sourced from UK??
I didn’t know they had a Thumb Trackball, I’ll look into it.
It’s a limited edition but looks good.
