The Occupied Palestinian Territories have been de facto prisons for decades; with concentration happening as a result of De-development of Gaza's Economy through the Occupation/Blockade, and with institutionalized violence that restrict and destroy critical infrastructure like water and housing for Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. I feel like more people are recognizing them as such now that Israel has ramped up its genocide in Gaza.
