Jerboa app doesn't work
Since a few days the app doesn't:
Allow me to post, create posts, vote, reply, block communities or persons.
I am writing this via my web browser.

Have you tried relogging? Some instances had a security thing and changed tokens
Multiple times to no avail.
Clear storage and then log in once more.
How do I clear storage for an app?
I think it may be different in some phones, but on mine I just long-press the icon and get a menu where I choose app info. From there I click 'storage usage' and click 'clear data'.
And they were never heard from again....

Alright so it worked for a minute, now jerboa says i have to login first, even though I did...
Reinstall?
Yeah I'll get around to that, the lemmy.world web version works fine on mobile I think I'll stick to that for now.
Long press, app info, storage and data and then clear storage.

Clearing storage/cache didn't help though.
Have you tried using another instance? I have that problem with lemmy.world but it is ok with less populated instances.
I have the same problem and pretty much with the same timing as OP, but I already am on a less populated instance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm currently on tchncs.de and am very happy with the experience. Haven't encountered any of the problems I had in lemmy.world here.
I gave up today and downloaded another. Regularly taking me back to the top of the page also did me in.
Yeah, haven't been able to permanently fix the issues I'm having.
Which one did you download?
Connect. No issues so far. There aren't many things showing up on googles store.

Jerboa sucked for me since I downloaded it. Constant logouts, unable to login after entering my creds, not showing my account until I closed and reopened the app, not letting me see my comments or saved posts, and constantly getting a "log in first" error when I tried to save a post. I ditched it and downloaded Connect, and thus far it seems to be the store-brand version of Sync, my absolute favorite Reddit app ever. When the dev releases Sync for Lemmy I will switch to that, but until then Connect is usable and pleasant.

IDK why, but this kind of interaction was somewhat rare on Reddit but it's everywhere here. It's like everyone is giving each other the benefit of the doubt or something. I hope it stays like this and doesn't get enshittified.
