Within the EU, you still need passport for a cat if you wanna travel abroad with it. My cat has his own passport.

My parents' dog has a passport. It even includes the names of the dog's parents which I find amusing.

Did the cat have to sign with their paw? Please say yes even if it isn't true

Ok, to be specific:

  • You really SHOULD have it
  • It is a proof of vaccination
  • Some countries require you to have your cat vaccinated against rabies (such as Germany)
  • If you don’t have such proof, in Germany, they may take your cat away from you for a few days and put him into quarantine
