Does "hide read posts" work for you?
Just curious. I've enabled "set scrolled past posts as read" and "hide read posts" but still seeing posts, that I've already seen after refreshing...

Yes, works fine for me
I'm on version 1.0.73 (latest non-beta version on Google Play Store) and it works fine for me
Seems to but I'd prefer a manual "hide this plus previous".
