Given how much he has already lied I don't believe him one bit. Taking an adversarial approach against your own community should tell them everything they need to know about how things will progress from here.

This is why even if things go back to "normal" I'm much more interested in seeing where this fediverse thing is going (which is something I wasn't even aware existed a few days ago, so thanks reddit, I guess?)

saying "were a community" at the same time as youre saying shut the fuck up and accept what were dictating is a good way to lose a few people from your site.
