Imagine being this pathetic and entitled. She threw a massive strop because she didn't receive a permanent lifelong membership of the legislature, as if Lords membership is some sort of 'gift' she's owed for having been an unimpressive middle-ranking politician; and then she took that strop to the lengths of potential law-breaking in pursuit of what she wanted.

She was never fit for public office and everything she's ever done confirms this.

Found this opinion piece in the guardian really interesting about Nadine, not knowing much about her other than the crazy.

Still crazy!

While Ms Dorries remains a member of Parliament, she can turn up in the House of Commons chamber to make her views known.

She can, but even before her resignation she had only shown up a handful of times (about 6?) In the prior 12 months, and it's been over a year since her last spoken contribution.

Why would they give her a peerage when she can't even attend her actual job as MP?
