What a surprise Woody allen wants "romance" back in film making.
He probably just wishes he could still be a sex pest and get away with it.
I tried watching one of his movies and I found the characters so insufferable I couldn’t make it past like 30-40 minutes.

He sucks. He always sucked. All of his movies inexplicably pair himself with young beautiful women. Gee what happened to the art?
I.e. he can no longer write in his bumbling-neurotic main character into a romance with an actress a fraction of his age whose character exists purely as a personification of his frustrated desires?
I can't wait till I can resume watching his movies again. Surely it's any day now.
