I don't know what this image is referencing, but Risa is a "pleasure planet" from Star Trek. c/Risa is a Star Trek-themed shit posting community.

This is a screen grab from the Night Court reboot. The character on the left is Dan Fielding played by John Laroquette, reprising his role from the original series. Laroquette also played a Klingon in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The episode in question has something to do with Comic-con (I haven't watched it so I don't know the specifics) and they've dressed Laroquette as a Klingon to reference his earlier Star Trek appearance.

Is the new "Night Court" any good? I really enjoyed the show as a kid, but haven't taken the time to check out the reboot.

I watched maybe three episodes of the first season. It's fine, but I feel no urge to watch any more. I feel like the new cast doesn't have anywhere near the charisma that the old one did, but maybe that's just me getting old.

It is well worth watching. They have some cast changes allng the way. Brent Spiner came back for an episode too.

Future historians will endlessly debate our decision not to kill Risa when we had the chance.
