Milwaukee Common Council passes 2% sales tax aimed at averting a financial crisis
The measure needed a supermajority of 10 council members to pass and ultimately was approved on a 12-3 vote.

Wow. Such a tough subject. Sounds like a pretty somber “yes” vote from our aldermen. Glad to hear about their intent to pursue legal action though.
Also, i cant get over the fact that the paraprofessional makes less than 20k. The fact that we as society put such little value into the people responsible for our children is very upsetting.
