Many years ago I had a very strange cat. One night when I got home he ran up to me with some small animal in his mouth. I was dreading having to deal with some poor dead animal he was trying to give me, but when he got closer I realized whatever he has wasn't dead yet... It turned out he had very gently picked up a baby bunny rabbit by the scruff and carefully brought it to me completely unharmed lol
I picked up the cat and shooed the bunny away. It was perfectly fine.
