While they both need to figure out some way to sustain their businesses, I am glad this was not the solution they went with. I had a hard time believing that the Toronto Star would have been left alone indefinitely, maintaining their independence.
like the lie when Postmedia bought the Sun newspapers. "oh we'll maintain separate newsrooms for sure!" Yeah that really lasted >.>
