Ultra

  • Favorites are now saved and syncronized between devices automatically
  • Favorites are now restored when restoring ultra
  • Favorite ordering is now saved and synchronized between devices

Other fixes

  • Fixed incorrect coloring of the Sync logo for the onboarding page
  • Fixed incorrect coloring of the Sync logo on the restore purchases page
  • Updated the colors in the ultra preview failed image
  • Updated the swipe upvote / downvote colors to match the current theme

Couple of quick visual fixes from last nights release along with a new Ultra feature to automatically save and synchronize your favorites.

I mainly added this as I was sick of manually adding my favorites during testing! Hope someone else finds it useful too.

Awesome job adding customization for the upvote/downvote colors!

I noticed that the upvote/downvote swipe gestures aren't covered by it, though. Upvotes still have an orange background and downvotes still have a blue one, and changes to the vote colors in the theme don't update them.

Edit: 106 fixed this for the post swipes, but the comment swipes are still the original colors.

Same here. The update fixes swiping posts for updated vote colors but does not for swiping comments.

Oops. Damn Play Store... I thought I was on 106, but I may have got the update before that.

Edit: Just updated. It fixed the colors for the post swipe gestures, but comments are still orange/blue.

I'm having the opposite going on, post upvote swipe is still blue but comment is now orange like I set it.

While we have you. I've noticed some button text that that needs fixing:

When restoring a deleted post you need to hit "delete" when the menu pops up.

And when updating a community's sorting I think the left cancel should be "reset"?

I remember that being a problem when I had to set my Lemmy profile to Scaled before you added it. I already had my everything feed sort overridden so I had to figure out how to reset it.

Found a bug. Setting upvote/downvote color triggers the Google password manager. Pixel 5a.

Just to make sure you're aware, as far as we know every single pixel 5a produced is defective and can die randomly at any point. Make sure you are constantly taking backups of anything important on your phone and make sure you have a backup phone of some sort just in case.

Now that some things' colors are prettied up, can you check on the way the inbox crashes from the left drawer? 😁

I don't actually like using the Bottom Nav bar, but it's the only way to change pages in the inbox without it crashing Sync AND the only place that shows if I have a reply. (The badge for unread messages)

Thanks! (I'm sure it's probably not at the top of your list, but the app reliably crashes so it seemed worth mentioning)

  1. Use left drawer inbox button.
  2. Go to something like "all replies" to start with.
  3. Within that page's drop-down menu, select "unread replies"

I've been working on modlogs for a while, hope to be launching that soon.

Also fixed the username issue. Missed that being a bottom nav user!
