The Swedes are apparently so excited that they're celebrating in the streets! And by celebrating I mean shortening the usual 2 meter personal space to a mere 1.5 meters to politely confirm that this is indeed an interesting development.

The confirmations are distributed via curt single nods, with no words spoken since that’d be small talk.

Jesus Christ, this Dionysian orgy of ecstatic jubilation must be called to a halt, it's transgressing all mores,

In the distance, a Finn watches the inappropriate closeness and exuberance of the Swedes with disdain.

I am afraid that this fear of Russia is blown a bit over-proportion and is used by the US to gain even more dominance of the World military power. Russia was not really successful in it's invasion of Ukraine and Ukraine is a lot smaller and closer to Russia then Sweden. Not to mention the geographiclly harder to conquer. At this pace I dont see that Russia can invade Sweden in the next century or more. While joining NATO right now will indirectly mean that Sweden increases it's military and particapates in NATO involvement in the middle east. It is a bit scary how centralized the power balance of the world has become. US is now involved with almost all wars in the World and is invading coutries like Iraq, Syria, Libya without any justification and no repricussions, just for oil. I am more scared of the US and I think that is reasonable.
