Had green gooseberry bushes right by a cherry tree when I was a kid. Would eat those sour bastards till I was sick

I just made some jam from my gooseberry bush last night. So glad I got to it before the birds!

I had so many gooseberries this year that were days from ripening, until one morning they were all gone :(
