How come I get different app versions when I load f-droid from my desktop compared to loading the f-droid client (app) on my phone?

desktop shows all available versions, including the newest ones. This is not always the case when I load the f-droid app on my phone. If I check the f-droid website, results are the same as using the desktop.

Some updates might be restricted to certain architectures, Android versions &c. Some could be beta versions. Or your repositories simply need to be synchronised.

If it isn't the latter, check the following settings: "Include incompatible versions", "Include anti-feature apps" and "Unstable updates".

I believe it does it in the background, or has an option to. Id recommend also having another app as they often have more features and a decent UI. I use droidify and used to use neo store.

+1 for Droidify, it's great. Used Neo Store before as well but Droidify is better IMO.

Probably because the App filters for your Screensize, CPU architecture and Android Version.
